Where Do We Go?
With the help & guidance of the
Holy Spirit
The societal problems having a cancerous impact on the family today are a result of the overwhelming influence of Secular Humanism in every segment of our society.
Recall Edmund Burke’s quote, “All that is necessary for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.”
We are putting feet to our vision which is to match cultural behavior with Biblical standards in the institutions God has given us by which we organize our society. Our role in this is to eXcite the Body of ?Christ, eQuip believers for service, and to eNgage the culture.
Monitoring the issues of our day and responding in Christ-like manner is our calling, knowing God is bigger than our challenges! Nehemiah called people to build the wall in front of their own home, so we’re calling you to do the same.
It’s important to know what is in front of us. As we do, we recognize we did not get to this place in our culture overnight, so we must see our labor going past tomorrow.
Is politics “the” battleground to address our cultural malaise. Politics like the delta of the river is the end result of many things before it. A river flows, it moves and changes, depositing it’s material at the delta. Upstream from politics is Culture. Upstream from Culture is Justice/Righteousness. Upstream from Justice/Righteousness is Evangelism and the full Gospel if Jesus Christ.
The word of God is the source of our Biblical Worldview. We stand, as Apostle Paul did in his day, for Truth and against worldviews that oppose the inherent, infallible Word of God.
This is why it is so critical for the Body of Christ be involved. Dietrich Bonhoeffer argued there are not two realities, sacred and secular, but only one, the reality of God.
We feel privileged and honored our Lord has placed you and us here for such a time as this.
God’s Blessings!
